People Matter Fest is an annual festival promoting peace, love, and community engagement. Held every year Father’s Day Weekend, we celebrate how much ‘You Matter’ to our community.

Art lovers can venture into MUCE’s iconic Pop-up Art Exhibition that features artists from heritage neighborhoods and surrounding areas. Live musical performances will be in full session throughout the event.

Ode To Hip Hop serves as a visual representation of a genre that influenced a generation. Themes considered for exhibition include the musical and political foundations of hip hop such as: Jazz, R&B, Soul, sampling, socioeconomics disparities, urban living, etc.

Artists are overall encouraged to submit work that depicts Hip Hop’s influence in fashion, music, dance, culture, politics, fads & trends over the past 4 and half decades. The exhibit is open to honor and to critique of the genre.

Submission Deadline: July 19, 2019

Exhibition Date: December 1 - 15th
Exhibiting for Art Basel week ONLY is an option.

Innovate Grant awards (2) $550.00 grants each quarter, to one Visual Artist and one Photographer.

Pollock Krasner Foundation Grant

 

The Pollock Krasner Foundation Grant was set up to support and strengthen the creative lives of artists. A competitive grant for artists with extensive exhibition records, this grant has a long list of impressive alumni.

Artists must be actively exhibiting their current work in professional artistic venues, such as gallery and museum spaces.

AMOUNT: Awards range from $5,000 to $30,000, depending on need and circumstance.

DEADLINE: Ongoing

 

The Awesome Foundation

 

An ever-growing worldwide community devoted to forwarding the interest of awesome in the universe.

WHO: Anyone is eligible for a grant — individuals, groups, and organizations alike.

FIELD: Any Field. Each chapter has their own requirements, most consider arts projects.

 

AMOUNT: $1000

DEADLINE: Rolling—monthly grants offered.

SPF South Florida

 

This exhibition will be open September - December, 2019 in The Projects located in FATVillage, Fort Lauderdale.

 

SUBMISSION DEADLINE 11:59PM, SUNDAY, JUNE 16th, 2019

 

ENTRY FEE: There is a non-refundable $20 entry fee for five images.

Pérez CreARTE Grants

The Pérez CreARTE Grant Program will invest over $1 million in Miami-Dade organizations working to cultivate this ecosystem through expanding residents’ access to the arts and making our city a global hub for artistic excellence.
